How did you discover KSA?
A flier came through our career center system. Several of my peers, as well as the consulting career center representative, forwarded the information to me with an encouraging note. I did a lot of research and learned just how exciting spending a summer with KSA would be.

Why KSA?
KSA is one of the few consulting firms that would give me the opportunity to combine my retail background with my MBA education.

What was the internship application process like?
I had nine conversations and presented three cases. Everyone was extremely friendly and in every discussion focused on the value of the KSA team. In addition to its impressive repertoire of clients, this collaborative environment made KSA stand out among other firms.

What are your expectations?
I hope to combine my product knowledge from my prior careers with my MBA education to solve problems and improve the retail sector.

What type of client project(s) are you currently assigned to and what is your role?
I am working with a team to improve the product lifecycle processes for a major national department store chain.

What have you learned from your experience interning at KSA?
It’s only Day Four… I know everyone’s name! Actually, my team has introduced me to the client leadership group with whom we are working and I’ve helped create several meeting documents, which has enabled me learn more about the task at hand.

Do you feel this opportunity has enhanced your career?
Ask me again in August, but I’m betting, yes.

Do you believe consulting is the right job for you? Why?
That’s what I’m hoping to find out this summer!
