NEW YORK, NY (February 24, 2014) — Analyst firm Gartner has once again recognized Kurt Salmon’s commitment to client service and visionary thinking in its most recent evaluation of the global business operations advisory capabilities of 10 consulting firms, the “Magic Quadrant for Business Operations Consulting Services, Worldwide” report.
Not only was Kurt Salmon placed in the “leaders” quadrant—which Gartner reserves for those firms that are both “performing well today, gaining traction and mind share in the market,” have “a clear vision of market direction, and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership positions”—it was given top honors for the completeness of its vision.
Gartner called Kurt Salmon’s understanding of client challenges and opportunities “world class” and its mix of strategic and execution expertise “top notch” and said that its ability to go deep on strategy and execution in the industries it serves “is more consistent and impactful than firms that have larger portfolios.”
Kurt Salmon CEO and President Chiheb Mahjoub attributed the accolades to the unparalleled level of experience and expertise of its consultants.
“The measurable results we deliver to our clients are the product of our consultants’ deep, often firsthand knowledge of their business issues,” he said. “We treat each of our clients’ challenges as though they were our own.”
That means the firm is always playing to its strengths, an approach that has not gone unnoticed. “Clients appreciate Kurt Salmon’s clear sector and operations focus, as well as its willingness to recuse itself where it does not have expertise,” according to the report.
Brooks Kitchel, managing director of the firm’s Global Retail and Consumer Products Group, said Gartner’s findings reinforce the unique value that Kurt Salmon brings to solving clients’ unique problems.
“We know that you can never be all things to all people,” he said. “Instead, Kurt Salmon prides itself on being the best to those clients who will benefit the most. Clearly, it’s a win-win.”
