NEW YORK, Sept. 18, 2014 -- Management consulting firm Kurt Salmon is pleased to welcome Jeff Kyser as a director in its Retail and Consumer Products Group.
Mr. Kyser is a retail and consumer products technology expert, with nearly 25 years of related IT systems experience. He joins Kurt Salmon from IT consulting firm Infosys, where in his role as senior principal he led multiple transformative retail IT systems projects, from strategy and process design through technology selection, implementation and support.
“With the advent of omnichannel, the way the consumer experiences retail and consumer goods has fundamentally changed—especially from a merchandising perspective—and technology plays a central role,” said Mr. Kyser. “I’m looking forward to helping Kurt Salmon’s retail and CPG clients find technology solutions and design related sustainable processes that both enable and support their customers’ omnichannel experience.”
Prior to Infosys, Mr. Kyser founded Kyser Consulting, whose services for retail and CPG companies included organizational change and process improvements in addition to technology implementation. He previously spent 13 years focused on retail and CPG at Kurt Salmon, where he progressed from manager to partner. Mr. Kyser holds a B.A. in cognitive sciences from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Madison Riley, managing partner of Kurt Salmon’s North American operations, praised Mr. Kyser’s track record for delivering large retail and CPG IT projects.
“We’re very excited to welcome Jeff back to Kurt Salmon,” he said. “His unique combination of IT systems implementation and consulting experience will be a source of tremendous value for our retail and CPG clients.”
