14 September 2016 to 15 September 2016
Kurt Salmon is delighted to be participating in the eagerly awaited Retail Week Buzz.
Dan Murphy, partner in the UK Retail and Consumer Group at Kurt Salmon, will chair the panel discussion entitled, "What’s the future of traditional retailing?". The discussion will take place at 14.10 on Day 1 in the Innovate theatre.
As Dan points out "the traditional store-based retail model is coming under increasing pressure. Retailers are grappling with disruption on so many fronts: declining return on physical space; increasing costs of servicing the online channel; the exponential rate of change in technology; and the evolution of a completely new multichannel organisational structure, are just a few. We assess the implications of these change drivers and how retailers can respond to them in order to survive and grow in the 21st century".
Dan will be joined by Mark Felix, Director of Online Trade at John Lewis.
