To assist the judging panel, the UK practice of Kurt Salmon provided the insight and analysis of the shortlisted retailers’ entries for the inaugural Internet Retailing E-Commerce Awards.

Designed to celebrate the 18th anniversary of e-commerce, the Award winners will be announced at a special birthday party in London on the appropriately timed 18 July 2012.

Siobhán Géhin, Associate Partner at Kurt Salmon, participated in the judging alongside representatives from Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, Morrisons, House of Fraser, and Google.

The judging panel chose winners for six Awards: Customer; Sustained Performance; Capability; Innovation; Omni; and the Judges’ Award.

“The Awards provide a great opportunity to reflect and celebrate just how far e-commerce has developed over the past 18 years and to highlight innovative thinking and excellent execution,” explains Géhin.
