To the British Red Cross, every crisis is personal – it’s not just the scale of the crisis that matters but the impact on the people affected.

We have been delighted to offer insight on a pro bono basis to the Retail division of the British Red Cross on issues around the ambitious plans for growing their business. We ran a workshop for senior members of the British Red Cross Retail division in August 2013 as part of our global Power Day, where all Kurt Salmon staff work for a charity for a day. We then followed it up with some focused support on developing measures to support the delivery of their in-store customer experience.

Paul Thompson, head of retail at the British Red Cross said, "The team at Kurt Salmon have been a joy to work with and they have sewn many new seeds in our thinking of how we can best ensure the future success of our retail chain. For us, this will ensure our shops strategy drives the delivery of a great customer experience and ultimately providing the best income contribution for our beneficiaries. There is no doubting Kurt Salmon’s extensive commercial know-how and experience in retail... I am sure in time this will prove to have been an invaluable partnership".

Mark O’ Hanlon, Senior Manager at Kurt Salmon said “We are proud and delighted to be able to lend our expertise to the Retail division of the Red Cross; an organisation which works tirelessly to help people across the UK and the world every day”
