SHANGHAI, March 6, 2013—Management consulting firm Kurt Salmon is pleased to welcome Karin Shenkar as a partner in its Retail and Consumer Products Group.

Ms. Shenkar, who will be based out of the firm’s Shanghai office, has more than 15 years of experience in the retail industry, with deep expertise in new market entry, G&A improvement, organizational redesign, process improvement, labor optimization and store operations.

Ms. Shenkar joins Kurt Salmon from Retail Resources Consulting, where she supported leading international brands in developing expansion strategies into China, the U.S. and Canada. She was also on the Retail Advisory Team at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has worked within the industry for brands such as Roots, Esprit and Gap.
