Under the service of business consulting, the EU Advisory team provides services such as the assessment of use of Trans-European ICT solutions, ICT Quality management, and Project Management.
Some examples of the EU Advisory team's business consulting projects are the following:
European Commission (DG DIGIT) – Assessment of Trans-European systems (TESs) provided recommendations to the IT governance bodies of the European Commission in the TESs' domain; and updated the European Union Cartography (EUCart) to provide a clear overall picture of the documented solutions to the Commission and Member States; introduced a pilot use of the EUCart in three Member States; and provided input to the European Federated Interoperability Repository on reusable building blocks.
European Investment Bank – Personnel tomorrow set up a Programme Management Office (PMO) for the Personnel Tomorrow programme within the HR Directorate to support HR future activities and the Bank’s overall vision.
European Investment Bank – NER300: Carbon Rights Trading Project integrated a trading platform into the bank as part of an EC carbon trading initiative to institute and manage the monetisation scheme of the NER 300 (i.e. over the counter (OTC): ISADA and OTC exchange cleared, Exchanged traded and Exchanged executed auctions).
European Central Bank – TARGET2-Securities (T2S) activity assisted the ECB on the design and implementation of a test strategy for its Eurosystem Acceptance Test (EAT) in adapting the standard waterfall testing V model, defined and coordinated the User Testing preparation phase, which was comprised of the planning of the CSDs’ and Central Banks’ testing activities across four migration waves and four test environments, documented the processes necessary for the implementation and operation of the software using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and following the ITIL best practices.
