Management consulting firm Kurt Salmon is pleased to welcome Jerry Marchetti as director of business development in its Health Care Group.
Mr. Marchetti, who has more than 20 years of experience in sales, account management and sales management, specializes in business development with executive, clinical and administrative health care leaders.
“The Affordable Care Act has health care organizations looking for new business models that emphasize value-based care, often requiring a significant level of transformation in the way health care providers organize and deliver care, and that level of change requires experienced advisors who can not only answer the thorniest of questions but also work side by side with the organization to address them,” said Mr. Marchetti. “Such hands-on support is what Kurt Salmon’s Health Care Group is known for and is what I am most excited about supporting.”
Mr. Marchetti joins Kurt Salmon from health care intelligence and analytics company Sg2, where as vice president of client relations he was responsible for developing and expanding account revenues through strategic analytics, education and consulting services. Prior to Sg2, Mr. Marchetti was an executive sales manager for Merck & Co., where his teams were responsible for over $40 million in sales annually. Mr. Marchetti earned his bachelor’s degree in natural sciences from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Ill. He received his MBA from Illinois State University.
