Management consulting firm Kurt Salmon is pleased to announce that Bruce Cohen has been promoted to a senior partner in the firm’s Retail and Consumer Products Group.

Mr. Cohen is a leader in the firm’s Private Equity and Strategy Practice and is the North American practice director. With more than 20 years of consulting experience in the retail and consumer products industry, he has worked with executives and boards focused on due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, and developing and implementing strategies to drive profitable growth. His clients include eight of the world’s ten largest private equity funds as well as leading manufacturers, distributors, operators and retailers.

“This is such a dynamic time in the retail and consumer products industry,” Mr. Cohen said. “As competitive pressures increase and consumer choices grow, I’m looking forward to many more years of helping my clients create and assess value.”

Before joining Kurt Salmon, he was a partner with Swander Pace & Company, a strategy consulting firm focused on the consumer products industry. Prior to that, Bruce was with The Cypress Funds, a private equity firm that invests in the consumer products industry, and was a consultant with Bain & Company. He is regularly quoted in leading media and also frequently speaks at top industry conferences.
