Health care IT group also recognized for planning and assessment
ATLANTA (February 5, 2014)– Kurt Salmon’s health care IT practice has again been named the top provider for the vendor selection services segment of the 2013 Best in KLAS: Software and Service Report. The firm received an overall score of 97.1 out of 100 for vendor selection.
This is the fourth year in a row the global consultancy’s health care practice has been recognized by the independent research agency, having also been named Category Leader in the vendor selection category in 2010, 2011 and 2012. The category covers services from vendor evaluation and contract negotiations to building workforce buy-in.
“The IT vendor landscape has changed considerably in recent years. The pendulum has shifted from a proliferation of niche providers to the search for a single, fully integrated vendor,” said Stacy Melvin, partner and leader of Kurt Salmon’s health care IT practice.
Some clients interviewed by KLAS for the 2013 Best in KLAS Software and Service Report discussed their experiences with Kurt Salmon.
“One of the great benefits of Kurt Salmon is that their staff is deep and really understands what needs to be looked at,” one chief information officer told KLAS in November 2013. “We wanted a focus that was well thought out and timely. Kurt Salmon was able to deliver on time with great knowledge and experience.
