For Kurt Salmon, the store of the future has a platform for customer presence awareness, product recognition, connected marketing, recommendations on products and services tailored to the shopper in the store. When discussing how retailing labs have evolved over the years, Sambar adds, “We saw the conversation about iLabs really take off in 2011 and 2012.”
