For the tenth year in a row, Apparel magazine and Kurt Salmon have worked together to forecast the factors associated with achieving global sourcing excellence. According to this year’s study, companies that will win in the future will have to focus on building a sourcing model that can “spin a dime” to drive low cost, high quality and incredible speed.

So what can companies do to successfully elevate sourcing from a cost center to a value center? The answer lies in developing a trend-advantaged sourcing strategy, working with super vendors, adapting to changing business models, becoming a more nimble organization and streamlining processes.
