Technology is now enabling the personalized experience of online shopping to be replicated in the physical store, as demonstrated to CNBC in the 1:1 Retailing Lab that Kurt Salmon created in partnership with Tyco Retail Solutions and Mobispoke (now Kurt Salmon Digital). In-store retailing will not go away, because the physical store is the temple for a retailer’s brand, says Kurt Salmon’s Al Sambar.
