What did you do prior to joining Kurt Salmon?

I worked at Sainsbury’s Supermarkets, launching a new clothing business. The role covered everything from building an office to implementation of the full Oracle Retail suite—all in record-breaking time. At Marks & Spencer, I held numerous positions in the fashion Buying & Merchandising departments, including product manager for Home Entertainment and merchandiser for Men’s Suits.

Working for a Chinese sportswear retailer in the Jinjang province, Mainland China.

All experience is good experience even if it may not always feel like it.

What is your favorite industry term?

Rate of sale: a  good metric to compare the true performance of a product.

What’s a little-known fact about you?

I am an adventure junkie. Every weekend in the winter season I grab my avalanche receiver, shovel, helmet and snowboard to enjoy the powder in the French or Swiss Alps.
